Elly’s Favorites (“we,” “us,” or “this site”) is a personal, independent kitchen and cooking recommendations site. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it’s used, and your choices around it.

Information we collect

This site does not require an account, and there are no sign-up forms. The main piece of data the site handles is your “Your List” selections — when you tap “Add to List” on a product, that choice is saved only in your own browser’s local storage. It is never sent to our servers, never shared with us or anyone else, and disappears if you clear your browser data. You can remove individual items or clear the whole list at any time from the “Your List” panel, opened from the bag icon in the header.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and performance purposes. We don’t currently run analytics or advertising trackers; if that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Cookies & local storage

We don’t set tracking or advertising cookies. The site uses your browser’s local storage only to remember the products you’ve added to Your List, so your list is still there next time you visit. This stays on your device and is fully under your control.

Links to other sites

Product buttons link out to Amazon.ae and other retailers, and we link to our Instagram account. Once you leave this site, that destination’s own privacy policy applies — we have no control over, and no visibility into, how those sites handle your data.

Elly’s Favorites is intended to participate in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. As an Amazon Associate, we may earn from qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. This doesn’t affect which products we recommend — see our About page for how picks are chosen.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we add analytics or newsletter sign-ups in the future — we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date above.
